General Information:
It is a new resort in the Vendée, only 800 metres from the sandy and pebbled beaches of the Atlantic coast. Our park is a superb place with villas that are spacious, comfortable and secluded. Indeed, many of these villas have their own swimming pool. We have spent considerable time designing the garden areas - lots of verdure and green spaces with magnificently long terraces.

The Facilities:
'Les Jardins du Château d'Olonne' offers its clients grand luxury villas in a magnificent setting. In addition, there are sporting activities, games and children's activities, for example, a splendid play area with attractive outside games. Of course, parents are welcome to join in!

Behind the children's play area there is a splendid hard surface tennis court (you can hire rackets from reception). There are also two table tennis tables.

The warm Vendée evenings can be rounded off with a friendly game of ‘boules’, otherwise known as pétanque. You can play this traditional game in a central area where both experienced and non-experienced players have an opportunity to show their prowess.

If you want to discover the Vendée, cycling is the best way and you can hire a bicycle from reception. There are cycling paths all the way along the Vendée coast. Information is available from reception.



You will especially appreciate the main swimming pool and the children’s pool. Then there is the restaurant that opened in July 2006 for all our residents. Stretched out on a sun lounger, you can relax completely in the shade of the palm trees while your children play in the heated swimming pool (the pools are heated from May to September).
